If you have not reset your eID password, do so immediately by using the VCU eID Manager. If your account has already be locked due to a compromise, you will need to contact helpIT for assistance. Once your password has been reset, and your email account access has been restored, you will need to check your email account settings in Google to ensure that the spammer has not changed your settings or information. Details instructions can be found here.
Please disregard any email responses or, if you should receive any email responses containing any user credentials, please take immediate steps to notify our Information Security Office, Dan Han, at email@example.com.
Don't be a phishing victim - VCU and other reputable organizations will never use email to request that you reply with your password, social security number or confidential personal information. For more details visit http://go.vcu.edu/phishing.
